“Earthquake Mission”

The challenges that we faced was that we had a limited budget which was $50,000. We also faced having to choose what material that we had to build our house on, for example there was a choice of thin grass, thick grass, cement and in the forest. We enjoyed seeing an earthquake happen with the buildings that we chose and upgraded. We liked the way how there was a choice of either demolish, upgrade, defense, develop and info. We also liked how we could choose what house we wanted to build, for example, a school, hospital, brick cottage, town house, apartments and modern houses.

The game was really fun I was mostly spending money on my houses and the one thing that I didn’t like about the game was that the defenses were too expensive and could only afford 2 defenses and I failed, I had 375 injures and 17 deaths so I would rate this game 6 out of 10.

    Earthquake mission blog response.
To me this game was one of my personal low scoring games. With a tight budget and a large city it was quite hard to protect all of my people and even if you house protect all the people in the village a lot of people still die and then when it is time for the earthquake you have the option to evacuate the city which I find was pretty pointless considering you don’t know if people get out since THE CHARACTERS DON’T MOVE so even if you have housed as many people as you can you don’t know if they are all safe from the earthquake but since you know at the end of the game what your population was if you play again then you know how many people you have to house. Yet I housed all the people and also put more houses than needed and yet in the bar below it says housed ‘’some amount’’ and sheltered 0. This was quite annoying but the worst thing was that one of my much needed defences cost $100,000 but the biggest budget I could have was $50,000 and the game did not tell me how to make money. I recommend this game to people with patience and building ability that don’t get bored and frustrated.

    Earthquake Mission

This game on the website http://www.stopdisastersgame.org/en/home.html was really fun but challenging. The Challenging part was when you had to save the innocent people from the earthquake. When I played this game 32 people died, 47 people injured and $45,000 had to be spent towards the poorly built houses and towns. I was lucky to put a hospital in at the last minute because all of my 47 people who had been badly injured would have died. This game was a really good interactive game to learn about all the different natural disasters. I think this is a good game to enhance your skills on how earthquakes work.

I thought that the Earthquake Mission game was really fun. I liked upgrading the buildings and building defences. The thing I didn’t like about it was that it took too long to upgrade every house, especially if you did the hard level. It was a challenging game and it took a lot of time, but I really enjoyed it. When I played only a few people died and some were injured, the next time I played no one died and no one got hurt. I and to make sure every house was demolished or upgraded. I also warned the people that there was going to be an earthquake. We had $50,000 to spend and I spent nearly all of it.
